Our Story
Rooted in legacy. Designed for connection. Inspired by “More Love.”
Richardson Ranch is more than a place to stay — it’s a place to belong. Nestled on 8 peaceful acres in Arizona’s scenic Verde Valley, the ranch was created to honor the legacy of my father, a farmer from Virden, New Mexico, whose guiding belief was simple and profound: “The answer is more love.” That spirit lives in every corner of the ranch — from quiet porches to starlit fire pits.
My mother’s family, the Flakes, helped build the town of Snowflake, Arizona, and continue to ranch and raise cattle to this day. Their deep roots in the land shaped my understanding of hospitality, stewardship, and the joy of gathering — values woven into the fabric of Richardson Ranch.
Whether you’re here to celebrate, recharge, or simply slow down, we’re honored to welcome you to a place built on love, legacy, and the simple joy of being together.
Meet Your Host
Thoughtful hosting rooted in legacy.
Hi, I’m Amy — founder and host of Richardson Ranch.
With over 25 years in hospitality and event planning, I’ve learned that the magic of any gathering lives in the details. From Fortune 500 meetings to family reunions under the stars, I’ve spent my career crafting experiences that feel intentional, welcoming, and unforgettable.
Richardson Ranch was born from a dream: to create a space where families and friends could reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves. Inspired by my father’s motto — “the answer is more love” — I’ve poured that philosophy into every corner of the ranch.
Whether you’re here for a celebration, a retreat, or a quiet escape, I’m here to help. I love sharing local favorites, offering planning support, and making sure every guest feels truly cared for. From hiking trails and wine tastings to milestone moments and meaningful time together, I’m always happy to help you design something special.
